1. Privacy at a glance

General information

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. For detailed information on data protection, please refer to the privacy policy listed below this text.

Data collection on this website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website? Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the imprint of this website.

How do we collect your data? On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may, for example, be data you enter in the waitlist form (name and email address). Other data is collected automatically or with your consent by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of the page view).

What do we use your data for? Part of the data is collected to ensure the website is provided without errors. We use the data from the waitlist form to store your pre-registration, send you a confirmation of registration and notify you when the product launches.

What rights do you have regarding your data? You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent, you can revoke it at any time for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

2. Hosting

We host the content of our website with Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA (hereinafter "Vercel"). In this context, personal data (e.g. the IP address) may also be transferred to the USA; the transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

When you visit our website, the provider collects various log files including your IP addresses. This collection is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in presenting our website as reliably as possible. Where consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's device. Consent can be revoked at any time.

We have concluded or will conclude a data processing agreement (DPA) with the provider. This is a contract required under data protection law that ensures the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

4. Data collection on this website

Waitlist / pre-registration

On this website you can register for a waitlist (pre-registration). In doing so, we process the data you provide — name and email address — as well as the time of registration. We use this data to store your pre-registration, send you a confirmation of registration, assess demand for the product and notify you at launch.

Processing is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give via the checkbox in the form. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by email to the address given in the imprint. The data remains with us until you revoke your consent or the purpose of storage no longer applies (e.g. after the launch phase has ended).

Storage in Google Sheets via Google Apps Script: The entries are stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet using Google Apps Script. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This may involve a transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA. The transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement exists or will be concluded with Google.

Confirmation and notification emails via n8n: To send you a confirmation of registration and later launch notifications, we process your email address with the automation service n8n ( self-hosted by us on a server operated by netcup GmbH in Germany, EU; the data remains within the EU ). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can revoke at any time.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. Collection is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

If you contact us by email, your enquiry including all personal data resulting from it (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
